EXPANDED BINDING AUTHORITY FOR ALL AGENTS! Universal is committed to supporting our agencies with expanded binding authority. We are pleased to announce our new maximum binding authority for Coverage A for homes 0 to 5 years old is $1 Million dollars. (the previous maximum was $750,000.)
Please note, we are working diligently to update our policy management system to accept these policies. In the meantime, submissions with over $750K in Coverage A will be sent in unbound and issued by underwriting upon receipt. We have updated our Homeowner Quick Reference Guide with this information.
